The Main Window

The main window of Zeta Producer is separated into two fields: the left side is for managing and editing the structure of the website and the right side for editing the contents of the selected page. As many articles (or paragraphs) as desired can be inserted per page.



How to create a new page

To add a new page to the main menu right click on "My Website". For a new sub-page right click on the page where you want to create a new sub item and then use the command "Insert new page...".

The "Edit page" dialog appears. Enter a name for the new page and click on OK.

 

That's all you need to do to create a new page for your website!

How to add text and pictures to a page

Select the page you want to edit in the page structure panel on the left side of the main window and then select the command "Insert | Insert new article...".

The "Edit Article" dialog appears. Here you set the name/heading of the article and edit the text. The integrated text editor works just like a text processing software for the web, which enables you to enter and format text and insert tables, images and hyperlinks quite simply. If you assign an image to the separate Picture field the administration of the text/picture layout is done with the Extended sheet.



For a preview of your changes click OK and activate the integrated preview function by clicking the Preview-tab in the main window.



How to publish your Website to the Web

To publish your website on the web, select the command "Publish website" in the main menu.

All changed files are automatically copied to your web server and your website is online!
